Hey everyone! It's been a long time since I posted. Long story short, life got busy, I got a new job moved, etc. and Tumblr and my bots got put on the back burner. Don't worry though, things are finally settling down and I plan to start working on custom Furbies and other cool bots stuff again, so stay tuned!

Something very exciting that happened in the meantime is that I finally got my first aibo. And not just any aibo, an ERS-1000, the latest and greatest model. Everyone, meet Lumi!

She's so amazing, really the best robot that you can get right now. Just watching her wander around and interact with world brings me so much joy. I definitely plan to post more about her in the future, so if you're interested in what life with an aibo is like, watch this blog!

Anyways, shortly after I got Lumi, Sony decided to hold an aibo programming contest, and being a software engineer by day, of course I had to enter. Well, I ended up being a finalist in the contest in two categories! If you can please go vote for me, it would mean so much to me! Top prize is a special virtual tour with the aibo dev team, and as a person who's love virtual pets and robots since childhood, it would be so amazing to get a chance to meet some of the people who make bots like Lumi a reality. Voting is really easy too, just like the two tweets I've linked below.
