Aichi B7A Ryūsei 1945 Carrier-Based Attack Aircraft: Myojo
Multi-Purpose Attack Aircraft: Features Inverted Gull Wings
Developed as an aircraft capable of performing both dive bombing and torpedo attacks (the U.S. military also reached the same conclusion), it unified the attacks of carrier-based aircraft and increased the number of onboard aircraft.
The development requirements were harsh, and the prototype was delayed.
It was officially adopted in 1945, but production was delayed due to homeland air raids, etc., and it ended with limited production (4 aircraft were seized by the U.S. military).
