This year we decided to ride in the parade instead of watch it and I’m glad we did. There really isn’t a better teacher than failure. Yesterday was Parker’s last #aicl event and one he was the most pumped for. In the end he flatted out and didn’t prepaid with the right tools and such to get him back on the road. So his last race was a DNF. He was sobbing about failing when I spoke to him a about it but after letting him get it all out, we talked about how he can learn from the failure and be better for the next race he does.
