I love brownhaired nerds with glasses kinda characters

This is a really funny story. Back in 2013, I came up with an OC for the story I have had with my friends ever since forever. I was inspired by Leo from Pandora Hearts at the time. I wanted my character to possess this kind of vibe but also be his own thing. What I basically did was alter a hair color and hairstyle.

After that, though, I started to come across characters with very similar designs that also kind of inspired me further. First, it was VLD with Matt and Pidge, then Aida Kensuke from Evangelion. Then Presto from D&D. My obsession with my character, paired with my huge admiration for VLD, kind of solidified my transformation into a brown-haired nerd with glasses myself.

So, of course, by the time MAWS Lex Luthor appeared on the screen, I already had a taste for that. I went crazy when he was revealed to be Lex and got more screen time. Lex is certainly a different kind of character from Matt Holt, for example, but he definitely scratched the itch for me with his significance to the plot (and other things I might rant about in a different post that VLD left in me). Then, when they changed his hairstyle in Season 3 instead of making him instantly bald, I just lost my shit! MY GOD, HE'S BEAUTIFUL!

So yeah, here you have it. I love other types of nerdy characters with glasses as well, but these ones are their own special category to me. I collect them like precious pebbles.

"Kensuke is a slept-on autistic king. His special interests are military hardware and the EVAs. He gets very excited it when he sees the EVAs or things like aircraft carriers in real life, and can rattle off details about them on the spot from memory. He has a collection of military surplus equipment too, enough to go camping with Shinji. The way he shares this interest with him is really cute, and shows a side of his character that I think is good autistic representation; he's one of the most compassionate characters in the show, and one of the few who is kind to Shinji for entirely self disinterested reasons. He has trouble understanding the psychological effects of EVA piloting however, making him autistic asf."

Goku -

Has a Special interest in fighting that he dedicated his entire life to. And he tend to try to solve problem only through that special interest, even though easier alternative exist in-universe

Is very oblivious of social convention and has trouble relating and understanding others (especially as a child)

Has a very strong sense of justice

Has a very "black and white" view of morality. Someone is either a good guy or a bad guy, again this is especially true when he was a child. To be clear he still understands that someone good can do bad things and vice-versa, and also that a bad person can become a good one. But he still doesn't really take into account that there's also a "grey" area of morality
