Does your character have a favorite outfit?

Meine's is probably some combo of a green coat and a soft shirt, either white or black.

I'm really not sure for Aiden. What does that dude even wear? I do think it's, at least post-captivity, something cozy and heavy and that covers his entire body and doesn't leave hm exposed at all. A set of thick cotton pjs, maybe.

Is there an item your character is embarrassed they own or want?

Meine is not ashamed of his possessions at all. He owns a little friendship bracelet that is years old and he hasn't seen the person who owns the other pair in ages and some people might find it silly but he still cares about her. He used to have a doll as a kid that he was made fun of by the kids in the nighbourhood and was a bit embarrassed by it. It was taken from him, and he's spent so much time without being allowed to own nice things for himself without the fear of having then be found out and taken away that he doesn't care anymore. He has a stuffed animal, clothes that make him happy and silly bracelets. He likes them.

Aiden sort of wants a dress, but has never gotten around to voicing that.

Is there a secret thing your character longs to hear?

...I think Meine wants to hear that Alisson (his childhood best friend) is fine. It eats away at him every day that he left her. And now she's all alone in her awful house. They were in that together. But he got out and she didn't. He's endlessly thankful to his mom for getting him out, of course, but now he has no way of talking to her. Of seeing her.

He knows she probably isn't fine. But he'd really just like to know. Knowing the truth would just probably make it worse (DON'T WORRY SHE'S ALIVE THO) but he just wants to hear she's fine. That things got better for her, somehow. He misses her.

Aiden longs to hear that his friends love him. He knows it, and everybody knows he is very receptive to affection so it's not really secret, but whenever they do, it sort of feels like...it was worth it. It was worth it. He kept them safe.

I swim like a person with a snake tail does...?

I guess it closer to that of a mermaid. My tail goes back and forth instead of up and down but I swim mostly with my tail. My body usually stays pretty still...

[14] - Not much, actually! It sometimes comes across as making fun of people, and he does laugh at silly slip ups. It's like a huff for air and then when they let it out it's like it bubbles up and they can't stop it. It sounds like a kid's.

[20] - He prefers company. Being alone makes them miserable. They really prefer it if someone is beside them, especially after captivity.

[33] - Okay that's a hard one 🤔 It is definitely one with their friends. He cherishes them a lot. Perhaps a nice day where they go to a beach and just have light fun, or maybe...yes... Aiden struggles a bit at not feeling completely like a boy and wanting to use they/them too so I think. That when they finally worked up the courage. And Quinn and Ezra recieved him with open arms and started treating him the way he asked. It made them really happy :)

Aiden's gaze strays far away for a moment.

"I don't know. I like to think that no more than... two months?" He hugs his shorter arm. "But I don't know anymore."

"Far too long," Kaiki snaps. He seems to tense a bit when looking at you, before continuing, "I prefer not to think about it."

30. What's on your mind right now?

Aiden closes their eyes. "Quinn. Ezra. Quinn must be spinning over their head trying to find their millionth lost notebook by now, and Ezra is cracking jokes at their expense. At least that's what I like to picture."

Something a bit heavier seems to go through their mind, and they grimace.

"I hope they aren't in the same place anymore. I hope they're safe."

"That I hate it here," Kaiki lays his head on the floor. It doesn't seem to bother him how cold it is. "I want them to stop. I want to beat up Alvaro's stupid face 'till he's as blue as that creepy eye of his."

45. What is the worst injury you've received thus far?

A sad smile goes over his face. Aiden points to his left arm--or what is left of it, really--sighing. "Probably this one. Or, if I'm being honest, I tried running through those woods in the beggining, and when Voile found me, I was already half dead. So," he adds. "Not her fault that time."

Kaiki groans. "I have no idea." He seems to really be liking to be spread limp over the floor rather than getting up or looking at you. "It's all the same. And," his voice lowers the slightest bit as he mumbles, as if he's remembered something he'd rather not, "the ones that hurt the most aren't injuries, anyways."
