It's the aniversary of Princess Diana's death. She has always been special to me as a child of a father who died of AIDS, because of the work she's done for people with HIV/AIDS. She was a hero. In this picture, she shakes hands with an AIDS patient back in a time when people mistakingly thought you could contract hiv from everything from coughing to shaking hands.
