Note to self: Don’t turn back. Do you ever have those days when the devil is trying to convince you to go back to where God has already delivered you from? It could be a place, any relationship, career or business related... it could be anything. The enemy would often suggest in our minds how we used to afford to buy this and that.. or make you think about what could’ve been if you were still in that situation in your life. Things that make you think twice and overthink. He’d usually suggest these thoughts as soon as we start getting impatient with the process because that’s when we’re most vulnerable. That makes us an easy target — when we begin to doubt and not trust God enough for what He has for us. As per @joycemeyer’s words, “...but the enemy failed to remind us how miserable we were when we’re not following God’s will for our life.” At times, we get easily tempted to give in to the enemy’s deceptions. We’re often in a hurry to make progress, or to have everything we’ve been praying for in an instant. Always remember to trust God and His perfect timing. @pastorrickwarren once said, “When God wants to make a mushroom, He does it overnight. But when He wants to make a giant oak, He takes a hundred years. Great souls are grown through struggles and storms and seasons of suffering. Be patient with the process.” There’s a reason why God has removed an opportunity or a person (or whatever it is) from your life. At times, what we see as failure or struggle is a blessing in disguise which is usually for our protection. God loves us enough to remove us from any situation that will bring us no good or from anything that was intended to harm us. And usually, our attitude determines how long we stay in that season of suffering. #AiEncourage you today to remain patient, and stay faithful in God. Trust Him at all times.
