@aiipromise The night was made for gazing at the stars. The sun had hardly drifted below the horizon, yet the little specks of silver light were already beginning to show themselves like diamonds in the rough, and already Nagisa was enchanted by them. He sat, knees hugged to his chest, face tipped to the heaven, with his feet just close enough to the tide that the water just barely tickled his toes before pulling back towards the ocean beyond. It was one of the bubblegum blonde's favorite pasttimes, stargazing; it was a gentle reminder of just how small he truly was in the scope of a vast and all encompassing universe. He was used to being alone on the beach, as it was hardly the beginnings of springtime and still much too chilly to be swimming, so when the shilouette of another figure just down the beach, on the edge of the pier, caught his eye, he blinked in surprise. Someone else enjoying the stars, he supposed. He looked back towards them himself and wondered what it might be like to walk among them- he pictured it to be very much like wandering through a field full of fireflies, and he couldn't help but secretly hope that he might one day find out. As an afterthought, Nagisa's eyes were drawn back to his left and towards the mysterious figure outlined against the still-dying light, and he watched...then paused. There was something extending from behind them, an odd shape that he couldn't quite place. Could it be a backpack? Perhaps, but...he'd never seen a backpack look like that before. So involved was he in attempting to figure what he was looking at that when the outline of the person disappeared entirely, he jumped as though he had been surprised. They had jumped into the water? But it was so breezy, surely they would catch cold? Intrigued, Nagisa watched and waited for the person to resurface, thinking perhaps that shape he had seen might be some scuba diving equipment. And he waited. And waited. After some time, Nagisa began to panic; whomever it was hadn't jumped in, he realized, but fallen! In a flash, he was on his feet, racing down the coastline and on the way to rescue.
