I got a portable CD player!! I obviously had to make it night silver. Now i can listen to the same Arctic monkeys songs on CD instead of paying for YT music. I have broken free from music subscription via piracy :D

Aiko update 2/??

So as some of you may know, Aiko is away for a bit while she learns how to teach other people how to learn English. She’s teaching French students, some of whom are from Quebec, and I’m assuming a few other places...

DO YOU KNOW THERE ARE FRENCH DIALECTS AND NOT EVERYONE IN FRANCE SPEAK IN THE SAME CADENCE??? SWISS FRENCH???? BELGIAN FRENCH???WHAT?? Apparently these people (not kids, they're about my age) don't even consider Quebec French a part of their dialect? And I'm like HOW? It's FRENCH ALSO?????? I'm so lost? I lived a lie?

She also sat across from her very own Katie McGrath (not the actual one, but the resemblance sounds rather striking) and her brain exploded all over my Skype.

i’m especially excited to put up more mudslide stuff—yes. it’s happening. also!! the art contest entries?? y’all. i’m gonna get them printed on card and stick them up too, they deserve to be SEEN

anyway i’m just really happy rn because i officially got more than 3 entries and that’s a huge win for me!! 🥺💖 gonna post all of them soon and tag the winners and scream about how talented you all are :p

Finals almost over so I'm watching X-men evolutions to feel human again

I just fell down a rabbit hole of jailbreaking devices.

Is this in part due to my fear of big corpo? Yes.

Yeah I’m not denying it dude, your boy is scared (ó﹏ò｡)

Anyway, I want to get away from my iphone and switch to a flip phone so I only use it for music and texting.

I’m already off other big social media platforms since ive logged myself out of my old personal account (wait—is Tumblr any better? Yes. The algorithm here isn’t giving me brain rot, just normal fandom rot.)

Like I have honestly been thinking about deleting my art tt/insta entirely, and I think the only thing stopping me is like… archiving sake?

I don’t wanna lose access to some of those art posts since I no longer have the original files.

Y’all ever worry about that?

Like how if you aren’t backing up your art onto a physical drive, you could lose access to your art forever.

Anyway—back to the first point.

I want to jailbreak a Kindle so I can put all my fanfics on it and read them on there, because I want to get away from the damaging effects of screens on your sleep schedule but still be able to read before bed.

Since I’m reading fanfic (most of which I wrote (’⸝⸝𓏗 - 𓏗⸝⸝) is this a little egotistical? Yes), and not books,I’d need to save all my fics as EPUB files and then move them onto the Kindle to even be able to read them on there once it’s jailbroken.

Plus—you can custom design the screensavers on Kindles, so I can draw my ships as different screensavers for the Kindle (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)
