So Alli moves back to her Norwegian family, and they live in a forest on a mountain literally in the middle of nature (her mom stays in the city, so she's with her aunt and grandma and cousins) and she learn how to climb mountains and sail boats and shoot a rifle. After a couple of years they move back, and Carter notice a hint of accent in her voice. She's also grown a lot (like a lot)
Carter cries when she comes back almost as much as he cried when she left.
