HELLOOOOO I WAS SO EXCITED THIS MORNING WHEN I WENT ON AO3 (AS I DO) AND SAW THE ICARUS FIC UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!! LIFE IS AWESOME. i am here as the same shy anon thats been here before hello!!! in your author's notes you said something something 10k porn something something boring and those are LIES!!! i was so locked in reading it the entire way through and was waiting for the other shoe to drop and GASPEDDDD when nika showed up. i am a bit of an alpha/alpha enthusiast so the way u write the zolu/luzo omegaverse dynamics is buttering my toast so good and then i actually get, like, crumbs thrown my way. thank you for all you write that was SUUUCH a good plot twist. i was so elated to finally see him in person that even his attempts on zoro's life didnt dampen my mood at all (we are moving forward!! the wait was so good) also speaking of the porn right. YOU WRITE IT SO WELL. i think there's skill in writing long scenes without being too repetitive or drawn out (though what makes it such is a case of personal tastes for sure ahahah) and you do it SOOO well you manage to make it so... how do i put it. there's raw emotion in there, there is always such good line drawn between so so fond and tastefully hot. peak! or several LOL luffy's appetite is to be studied!!! on a more technical side, i continue to reread your work every once in a while and especially when a new chapter drops, and although i am maybe like... halfway through chap 1 right now on my reread (courtesy of the update<3) i cant get out the image of the designs youve brought forward.... their fits... the henna on luffy... the jewerly... maybe im making up some stuff but i just see it so vividly you know, the descriptions make it so good. do you have any images/sources that are like... inspo... or could ever serve as reference were anyone ever trying to sketch it out by hand i ask for no reason in particular... a penny for your thoughts?

first of all HELLOOOO my favorite anon in the whole entire world, your feedback always makes me smile so much, my excitement opening my tumblr inbox and seeing paragraph upon paragraph from you had me bouncing around on my couch. ahem, i mean. thank you so much dear reader. patpat for you on the head.

the smut was actually 13k alone before i attacked it with my proof-read chainsaw LOL, so i trimmed the chapter up quite a lot, i think it makes it less droning (or maybe i was just in a very anti-horny mood when finishing and proofing this chapter OH WELL)

alsooooo! i DO have a discord channel where i keep all of my ref photos and comm art, outfits, jewelry, scenery. mostly a channel where i can give to artists i comm to give them a better understanding of outfits and fashion and colors ect ect. but publicly i don't have very much aside from what i put into the A/Ns. you're more than welcome to DM for it if you'd like!! (im trying to keep most of the traffic on the channel to a minimum ^^; )

hi im the previous past-strawpage-character-limit-anon (phew that's a long title) here once again cuz NEW CHAPTER DROPPED YAYYY

first id like to say that when you said in the end notes that you wished we could see it like the movie in ur head i kind of went "i Knew it" cuz ever since i picked up this fic (nearly a year ago... and have reread it so many times) i was just amazed at the way you describe locations. im an artist with a weakness for colors and every scene you bring us into has such clear... artistic colorgrading? not really sure what to call it in writing but it feels as if light sources and shadows and the depth of colors are really well captured. like a super pretty illustration, even if you can't see it. so in that regard it definitely feels like watching something (but in reading format - its suuuch a good experience).

the latest chapter is feeding us so well and i couldn't help but think the entire time that since this is one of The Big scenes, something we've been waiting for since very beginning and now we're getting there, and we've been waiting for it impatiently (i know i was.) that means the stakes were established so clearly. as someone who personally struggles with story structure (messy... all over the place...) that's so impressive to me. i know where we're headed, vaguely, but the slivers of knowledge i have only makes me more excited to see how it'll happen!!

all in all, extremely fun update, and that's me gushing about it in general terms and not going into specifics (though i do gotta say that luffy's sentiment at the end being "i should've been the alpha🙄🙄" cracked me up so bad) SO THANK U!!! HOPE THE EVENT YOURE PREPPING IS ALL FUN!

i'm so glad someone has noticed the vivid, movie-like quality i'm trying to achieve with this fic!! i know i say it often but i mourn not being more artistically inclined and good with color because i wish i could bring this to live as a full 4K colored animatic that runs for 4 hours long xD

but for real, thank you again for your lovely comment! chapter 7 is one of the first big climaxes of the story, and as i mentioned in the A/N of the chapter, the festival/dance scene specifically was one of the very first scenes i wrote for this almost a whole year and a half ago. everything has been branched out from there and plotted around it. i'm super proud of where it's gone and how clear the plot has lined out ahead in my brain.

luffy is such a fun character to write, especially where he's such a dominant personality and being stuck with his biology as an omega but not letting that stop him by any means in how he acts or how he is in the bedroom. his inner monologue is also very fun to work with as i'm writing, since you guys are left in the dark as you go along with zoro's POV for most of the scenes. hehehe.

also many thanks for my event!! four days left and i dont have any fics wroked on for my own week lol, this month has been busy busy for me irl, so i'm spending too much time touching grass and not enough touching the keyboard these days, phew. but trust, i will get back into the grind soon!

the recent update of as icarus loved the sun was so peak...! the luzo in there was an unexpected treat. i have no idea what sort of writer you are outside of this work, nor do i know you personally in any capacity — so it's a bit hard to express my thoughts in a way im sure can be understood. but between luffy's past, and the role handed to him based on his secondary gender, and even such an irrelevant thing as fandom tendency to stick to fixed positions due to certain interpretations of the dynamic, the most recent chapter has made me really happy. thank you!

ive been invested in the worldbuilding from the getgo, in how the events have been developing, and every time my expectations are absolutely exceeded. can't wait for the next chapter! :-)
