This Pride is newly formed, coming into fruition when Bahati and Furaha fled their previous pride during a takeover to save their two at the time cubs, Tau and Nia.

Bahati:
She/Her, Approximately 6 Years Old
Bahati lived with her twin sister in their birth pride for around four years, perfectly happy with their lives and their young cubs. At some point, the two lions protecting their pride were killed by another coalition, leading to the death of one of Bahati’s two cubs, Simba. In order to save her remaining child Tau as well as her niece, the two of them fled into unknown territory until they managed to find an unoccupied patch of land where they could begin their lives again, now under the protection of Moto’s Coalition. Bahati is now partners with Shetani from Moto’s Coalition.
Furaha:
She/Her, Approximately 6 Years Old
Her background is the same as Bahati’s, listed above, though unlike her sister she did not lose any children in the initial takeover of her original pride. Furaha is now partners with Moto, two which she has had two cubs; Maua and Mwamba. Alongside her own current litter, Furaha also acts as a foster mother for Zuberi and Kamau’s three cubs, Zuri, Werevu and Aina.
Tau:
He/Him, Approximately 2 Years Old
Tau was taken by his mother, Bahati, away from his birth pride after losing his father and littermate Simba in a takeover by a rival Coalition. This causes Tau to suffer from Survivor’s Guilt and paranoia, either always finding himself near his younger cousins in fear that something will pick them off, or off in Kivuli’s Grove trying to convince Subira and Kivuli to teach him to fight properly.
Nia:
She/Her, They/Them, Approximately 2 Years Old
Same background as Tau, though deals with the trauma a bit differently. She’s hardly around her pride unless it’s time to go hunting, and instead prefers to roam around the territories of neighboring prides to socialize a little bit. Most often you can find her at the border of the Burnt Baobab Pride trying to get the attention of her girlfriend Penda.
Maua:
She/Her, Approximately 3 Months Old
Maua is Moto and Furaha’s daughter. She is a bit of a bully at times but doesn’t mean it, she’s just trying to be funny and silly, and she is, but unfortunately that sometimes leads to misunderstandings and hurt feelings. She always says sorry though!
Mwamba:
He/Him, Approximately 3 Months Old
Mwamba is Moto and Furaha’s son. He’s very quiet unless he’s around his sister, though even then he lets her do most of the talking. He’s easily withdrawn and shy, but is very very smart when he does get to talking.
Zuri:
She/Her, Approximately 4 Months Old
Zuri is Zuberi and Kamau’s daughter. She’s a social butterfly and always curious about what the adults are doing. This is very very cute but sometimes comes off as a bit nosy, which she is! But not in a malicious way.
Werevu:
He/Him, Approximately 4 Months Old
Werevu is Zuberi and Kamau’s son. A bit of a know it all, which means he butts heads with Maua fairly often. He loves nothing more than to talk talk talk about whatever beetle or antelope or kind of tree he just learned about to any unfortunate ear who will listen. He turns into the best listener you’ve ever met when you’re telling him about something new that he hasn’t heard of before.
Aina:
She/Her, Approximately 4 Months Old
Aina is Zuberi and Kamau’s daughter. Surprisingly serious for a cub her age. She doesn’t seem to emote, though she does in her own way. Prefers to spend time alone, practicing her hunting skills or even sneaking off to spy on Bahati and Furaha while theyre hunting to learn some tips.
