yeah one immediately springs to mind which is this comment bella left on britpop she was reading through about 4 chapters in one go which is like what 30-40k and its just so funny to me still

yes! multiple comments half the comments meg and my spoiler twin have made on britpop make me cry and one that particularly stands out to me is the loveliest comment i got on my lockdown fic from @daydadahlias who i just realised has a tumblr hello jess i hope you don’t mind me saying this but anyway that comment i think about approximately once a week i have it screenshotted in multiple places it took me a few days to be able to even respond to it because it was so overwhelmingly lovely i definitely cried at that

Ainslee you indulge me. I’m gonna talk a little bit about how the AU developed.

It’s all @tigerteeff fault. I forgot how it started but I made some comment that the only gift fic I had at the time was for a specific “kink” that I enjoyed. Heath went and checked and upon seeing it (men in lingerie) yelled at me to write it.

Luke’s pretty. Luke’s so fucking pretty. From the minute Heath said it, I knew I wanted to write Luke in lingerie, because we’ve seen him in lace and silk and makeup and glitter. I also really love when my lingerie comes with gender identity. I created the idea for Luke to be non binary back in Sept when I created the AU because I wanted calum to say “husband or wife” in the wedding vows and at the time, I was exploring my own gender concerns. What’s Luke if not a good projection?

I kept putting off Luke and KayKay coming out in the fic until last month or so when Jess joined the club and mentioned something that reminded me of it. A combination of Jess and Heath pushed me to have Luke officially come out in the fic, like I always planned.

Ashton was also my great love of this fic. He’s just loving and supportive no matter what because that’s just Ashton. He loves wholly and completely. Luke deserves that always

I’m really happy about the response to this series. Lingerie Luke is the most personal to me as a fic and was and is how I cope with my own body image and gender/sexuality issues. I love them and all the ways that they are. I’m happy the series gets even an ounce of love that it does

i don’t !!! but. i think me and my sister r getting matching like. pinky promise tattoos? and ive got a 1975 one planned but <3 yes. also would probably want smth harry potter themed maybe since that p makes up my entire personality
