I've never thought about it on this blog but Mia Ikumi's death a few months back was such a punch in the gut, Mew Mew was my first anime/manga, I got into drawing comics by reading it, the first comic I tried to draw was a cringy Mew Mew cop-out, it's so surreal seeing the author of a work you've read and loved for years pass away so prematurely

Looking at these all together reminds me of a quote by @musterniillustrates​  - “Sleeping, like dying, delivers you from this world to the next- To rest in crypts and wake in gardens.”

hello guys I am kinda desperate for Moni€$ atm so I’m finally opening up commissions in case any of you are interested in getting art from me.

what I will/won’t draw:

fan art/ocs/basically any type of subject is fair game

I can do basically any style except for overly-realistic

I can only do traditional art

no explicit stuff or over-the-top gore (suggestive stuff is okay)

for ships, no pedo/incestuous stuff obvs

As for the prices, their value slightly changes depending on the complexity of the character to depict. Atm I’m only accepting payment through paypal but we can discuss other options.

prices for lineart/black and white pieces:

bust: 3$-5$

full body: 8-10$

extra character: +5$ to +7$

prices for colored pieces:

bust: 5$-7$

full body: 10-15$

extra character: +8$ to +10$

For anything extra like backgrounds, or particular settings etc we’ll further discuss the price privately, if you’re interested please dm me on this blog :)

Hello! I haven't really thought about it! For sure it's not one of the girls. I envisioned them as three normal girls that get swept up in an adventure just like in the og show. They probably don't even know the Avatar personally! Their Calamity Powers do give them Avatar-like power boosts though

@mothmvn i think that might be a component but this problem isn't new. I think other apps have spoiled everyone, "Tumblr natives" included, with options that require less effort and time than reblogs. Think of retweeting, liking, adding to favorites, they all only require one tap of your finger which means u barely have to stop whilw scrolling through the dashboard. With reblogs however u have to tap two opposite ends of your screen separately. I think even just positioning the second reblog button in the same location as the reblog icon might incentivize people to reblog more. It seems small but stuff like this does matter in app design
