A lover’s touch, a feeling that transcends all feelings.
Enveloped by the warmth that emits from their body.
The security that calms and relaxes the soul.
Safe again. Safe in my lover’s arms.
You may feel a little broken and torn today but tomorrow; tomorrow holds so much promise for something greater than what we know in this current moment.
A little something I wrote a few nights ago... writing is my way of getting emotions off of my chest. always has.
I was never able to communicate and express myself appropriately... I still find that I cannot when I really want to. The times I wish to share my inner most thoughts and emotions, my body just completely shuts down and closes itself up. But after finding someone I truly believe knows me nearly as much as I know myself.... i have learnt to express such feelings maybe not the way I should but its a step forward. I also understand how it feels to be the other person waiting on the other end trying to see into one’s mind to help them and be a rock for them during their lows. It’s all a painful process especially when expression isnt someone’s forte.
and in this moment, i felt immense joy 🏙
