Hello! First, I would like to thank you for writing for Saint Seiya because this fandom deserves more writers and recognition. I've discovered you not long ago and I really enjoy your writing ^^
Can I request Shun, Sorento, Mu, Aiolia, Shaka and the three judges with an autistic reader? I hope it's not too many characters or anything... If it's too many, you can put the judges aside.
Take your time to do your requests, take care of yourself, stay hydrated. Your health comes first!

Aiolia might not understand autism immediately, but he wants to.

Aiolia can be a bit loud or intense at times, but if he sees that bothers you, he'll try to control himself more when near you
When you’re anxious or overstimulated, he'll place his hand on your shoulder and remind you that you're always safe with him and telling you to make some breathings exercises
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁ ⟡ ݁ . ⊹ ₊ ݁.
Minos ⛤:
Minos enjoys understanding people's minds, and yours fascinates him
He might ask lots of questions (though always respectfully) because he genuinely wants to know how you perceive the world

Shaka is one of the most understanding Saints you could meet
He’d never see your autism as a “disorder,” but as a sacred part of you
If you struggle with certain social cues, Shaka quietly guides you through them
His calm voice and way of acting makes you feel really comfy and safe
Shaka would love to meditate with you and would always encourage you to do so
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁ ⟡ ݁ . ⊹ ₊ ݁.
Shun ⛓:
Shun is the most empathetic of the Bronze Saints and would immediately sense if something makes you uncomfortable or overwhelmed
He'd never judge you or do anything that makes you feel bad
If you have sensory sensitivities, he’s careful with his touch, always asking before hugging or holding your hand
When you info-dump about your special interests, he listens with bright eyes and a genuine smile
Shun loves when you do it and says that it's because you light up when you do it
He’s incredibly grounding during meltdowns, quiet, patient, and reassuring.
He’d sit beside you, offering silent comfort until you’re ready to talk.
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁ ⟡ ݁ . ⊹ ₊ ݁.
Sorento ♆:
Sorento’d quickly notice subtle shifts in your mood or energy
If music makes you feel better, he'd gladly play his flute to you
But if loud sounds bother you, he'd be extremely respectful of that, never playing his flute unless you are comfortable
If you struggle with social communication, he doesn’t push, he just tries to softly guide you into it
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁ ⟡ ݁ . ⊹ ₊ ݁.
Rhadamanthys ✶:
At first, his brash demeanor might seem intimidating, but once he realizes you may not feel completely comfortable with it, his tone softens considerably
He can be very protective
If anyone mocks you, he’s the first to jump in your defense
Might struggle to express gentleness, but his actions (shielding you, adjusting his volume, ensuring you’re not overstimulated) speak louder than words
Author Notes: I was rolling through the Saint Seiya tag the other day, and I noticed there isn't very much fanfiction and even less of the reader-insert variety. So, this is going to be my first time posting something I've written for the Saint Seiya fandom, but I'm kind of excited! I am still feeling out how to write and characterize the characters though. Aiolia just happened to the lucky goldie that is getting posted first. I wrote this while listening to the song "Golden" by Harry Styles, ironically enough, and I do think it kind of shows in the fic itself. Reader is gender-neutral in this. I hope you enjoy!

Perhaps it was a ridiculous thing to say, considering he was a gold saint, but there was something undeniably golden about Aiolia. Almost like he was solely born for the role of a gold saint, and there were few things you could think of that would be as tragic. Because it seemed like tragedy was a common vein within the lives of all of the gold saints you’d met or heard of.
And perhaps it was because of everything that he’d been through that now, when you looked at him, he seemed like the perfect image of a gold saint. He was tough enough to take countless blows and yet, somehow, gentle enough to be kind in the face of unfair circumstances.
It was oddly amazing, which was a strange thing to say when it came to the gold saints of Athena. All of them were supposed to be awe-inspiring and amazing with nigh-godlike power.
But to you, Aiolia seemed the most amazing. Because while they’d all suffered and gone through heartbreak, he seemed to have come through it largely untarnished.
And yet, despite how amazing he really did seem, with his righteous nature placing him in a moral opposition to many others in Sanctuary, he was also equally frustrating because of how quickly he took the blame for things.
It didn’t matter that he’d been manipulated just like the others, he still felt guilty for not believing in his brother and wavering for even a second. When, honestly speaking, you weren’t sure anyone could have come through the abuse he’d experienced without eventually blaming the cause of that abuse. Even if the cause of that abuse was the heroic actions of a beloved older brother who wasn’t actually a villain despite having been painted that way for thirteen consecutive years.
You pressed your lips together as the man in question frowned up at the opening of the Temple of Sagittarius. And there was no doubt in your mind that he was thinking of his late brother.
When you’d first been hired to clean the Temple of Sagittarius back when Saori had returned to Sanctuary and taken her place as Athena, you hadn’t expected to see Aiolia that often. Perhaps in passing, but no more than you’d seen him in the village.
But, instead, you saw him quite frequently. Sometimes, he was passing through to reach Athena’s chambers and make some form of report, but most of the time he instead just seemed to be visiting the Temple of Sagittarius itself.
He often helped you while there. Cleaning up overgrown plants, sweeping, beating down webs, and attempting to restore in damage wrought by age and lack of use.
He would do almost anything and seem largely unbothered by the work. In fact, he seemed to almost enjoy it now.
But at first it had honestly struck you as something he seemed to be doing in atonement, because during that time he hadn’t talked much. And it had seemed like he was too far involved in his own ruminating thoughts. It wasn’t that hard to put two-and-two together and figure out what was going on, though.
After all, everyone knew the story of Aiolos. The Sagittarius saint who’d fled Sanctuary with the infant Athena in an attempt to save her from the then crazed Pope and was framed as traitor.
You tilted your head, looking at the young man who seemed to be largely unaware of your presence. Too focused on the building and his own thoughts to notice you.
But the moment you started up the stairs he was looking back at you, his eyes comically wide before he brightened and a smile spread across his features that stood in stark contrast to his previous, more somber expression.
You shook your head, casting off your moody thoughts as you smiled slightly in return. Watching as he shifted to face you more fully, almost as if he were wanting to trot down the steps to meet you halfway but was holding himself back, “You’re free to help again today? I figured you’d be busier than this.”
Your voice held a hint of teasing amusement and Aiolia’s smile shifted to match your tone, “I’ve got some free time and figured you could use some help. That mint is still being a menace after all.”
You snorted, finally making it to the top of this set of stairs. The mint really was a problem, though. You honestly figured some particularly petty silver or bronze saint had planted it. Though how they’d gotten it to grow inside of Sagittarius when the temple had been sealed until Seiya and the others had come through was beyond you.
Similarly, what the thought process behind any such mint scheme might have been also eluded you.
You hummed slightly, barely pausing next to the gold saint before you continued on and lifted on shoulder in a half shrug as you smiled his way, “Well, I won’t turn down the help.”
He exhaled a laugh, following along behind you while you mused to yourself about how even if the way he blamed himself and was so overly hard on himself did get on your nerves, you couldn’t quite bring yourself to get in the way of his atonement. Especially since you were genuinely grateful for his help.
Without him, there were several parts of this job that would’ve already been a nightmare. Though you supposed that was your more selfish side talking. After all, confronting his issues with blaming himself would potentially result in you losing your helper.
And before long the two of you were at work, with him pulling up mint while you worked at scrubbing away approximately thirteen years of filth that had built up on the marbled floor. Chatting all the while as the two of you worked.
“So outside of our little mint infestation, how is life in Sanctuary now that everything is getting settled with Saori being here as Athena now?” You barely even glanced over your shoulder as you spoke.
“Fairly well, though I haven’t gotten to talk to Miss Kido much actually. And there are still a lot of repairs to be done around Sanctuary,” He didn’t really try to hide the slight disappointment in his voice about not having gotten to talk to Saori, though his tone remained fairly light and conversational.
You nodded, largely unsurprised by his words. Saori would no doubt be wary of the gold saints since they’d initially tried to block her from coming due to having been told that she was an imposter. Plus, the Galaxian Wars tournament hadn’t been a good look for her or the bronze saints since it really had just appeared to be a fighting ring for everyone on the outside looking in.
And, in fairness, that was essentially what it had been anyway.
But even beyond Aiolia not having gotten to talk to the new Athena, there was no denying that Sanctuary was in desperate need of repair work after the Seiya and the others had come through.
Several of the temples hadn’t ended up damaged in their fights with the gold saints, and you’d heard that parts of the Pope’s chambers were a wreck.
“How are things in the village? Has the gossip finally died down?” You almost snorted at his question.
“I don’t think people are going to be done talking for a while. But other than that and everyone wanting to meet Seiya and the other bronze saints, things are pretty normal.” You paused, scrubbing particularly hard at one stain before continuing in a softer tone, “I guess it’ll be a little while yet before we all get settled into the new normal.”
Aiolia was silent, and you smiled slightly. But for him the new normal was probably a bit of a blessing. He wasn’t getting harassed anymore, and no one was making any accusations against him on the grounds of him being related to the supposed traitor.
In fact, it had been a complete change. He was now the brother of the hero of Sanctuary, rather than the traitor. Which had possibly resulted in a bit of whiplash. But beyond his guilt toward his brother, Aiolia seemed to be taking it all well.
“Athena mentioned hiring people from the village to help keep Sanctuary cleaner. Especially the twelve temples.” Aiolia’s tone was oddly conversational, almost like he was poking at something cautiously and you felt your eyebrows lift.
You didn’t push though, instead just responding, “That could be nice. I’ve heard they used to hire folks to take care of the laundry and what not in the past anyway. It would be a good job opportunity for a lot of people.”
He hummed, staying silent for a moment while you waited. And eventually he spoke up, his tone once again a little too casual to be completely normal, “Do you think you’ll apply?”
You pressed your lips together, suppressing a smile, “I might. Like I said, it's a good job opportunity. It would depend on where I ended up working though. Some areas are rougher than others, after all.”
You didn’t even have to glance back to know he’d perked up, “Well, apparently the idea of having a set person to clean each zodiac temple has been mentioned. If you’d like… I could recommend you for working at Leo.”
This time you smiled outright, sitting back and looking over your shoulder at him before you nodded. His distinctly hopeful expression only makes your smile spread further, “I think I would like that. Thanks.”
And just like that, the future of your new normal took on a distinctly golden hue that matched the young man who smiled at your words unhesitatingly.
