Day 5: Tattoos

He’s so proud of his smol baby for being ready for her tats, but he’s also sad that she’s growing up.

I went with it being similar to how the Maori get their tattoos. I think it’s a further test of one’s ability to enter a space of complete peace of mind, to the point where you cannot feel the pain of getting the tattoos. So the challenge is to meditate during the ceremony.

As a result, I think Tenzin is also afraid of hurting her, but knows that it’s an ordeal that all airbending masters have to go through. </3

Airbending Weeks prompt 2: Flying

I won’t be doing all of the prompts, as I just don’t have ideas for some of them, but I do have a fair amount on the way. :) 

There isn’t much to say about this piece. I think it’s very self explanatory. xD
