Would You Believe, If I Say That You Will Never Have To Put Your Phone To Charge Again??
If I say that you will never have to put your phone to charge again, would you believe me?? Honestly, if someone would have said this to me even two years back, I would have laughed it out.
But the time has changed. As the years are passing by, new and new stuff is becoming real. We are moving towards a tech world, a world where everything is done just by saying things, like Siri calling for you or Alexa playing songs for you, or Google Assistant giving information on various stuff. A world is not far away from where things will happen while we are just thinking. What a world that would be!!
So I was talking about you not needing to put your phones to charge. Imagine your phone every time 100% charged. Never coming back to the charging port and finding that you forgot to turn on the switch. Seriously this hurts a lot.
So, Xiaomi has come up with its latest tech called “Air Charge”. A device, if turned on can charge your phones as well as wearables, if in the same room. Motorola has also claimed that they are working on something similar.
Now since this is some new technology hence the charging speed is slow (only 5W in the world of 65W now), but hey you don't have to put your phone anywhere or deal with the charging cables anymore. You can simply work on your phone like you normally do while it is also charging automatically through the air. Isn't that exciting and crazy at the same time??
This Air Charge will use the same tech which is used by 5G, and hence a lot of new phones must already be compatible. Though phones should also have one antenna build on the phone which can receive the signal from the charger.
Though this sounds very cool that we may never have to put our phones to charge any more or even our wearables. But one thing that still concerns me is that a device is detecting automatically where my phone is and also sending some kind of signal waves to my phone constantly. Will that be safe for our phone's battery or as a matter of fact for our own health??
Xiaomi is still due for an answer, and even Motorola. With this thought, I will take a leave. Do let me know what are your thoughts about the same.
