Hey. Do you guys remember these?
These were a series of snack makers produced by Mattel in conjunction with McDonald's under the name Happy Meal Magic in 1993.
I found out about these when I was about 9, and ever since, I've been fascinated by them.
And lately, I've been thinking about the idea of bringing them back, but in the form of actual food makers ala Nostalgia Electronics.
Like you can't tell that wouldn't be cool as all hell.
Plus crazy successful.
In terms of the makers; we would have a Burger Maker, a Fry Maker, a Drink Fountain, a McNugget Maker, a Salad Maker, a Breakfast and McCafe Maker, a Shake Maker, a Pie Maker, a Sundae Maker, and a McFlurry Maker.
As for how they would operate.
-Burger Maker: Features built-in bun toaster, griddle, cold storage for vegetables and cheese, condiment dispensers, cutting board with knife, patty molds, and burger containers.
-Fry Maker: Features built-in fry cutter, deep fryer, bath and drying station, salt shakers and fry containers.
-Drink Fountain: Basically SodaStream but in dispenser form with cups, lids and straws.
-McNugget Maker: Features built-in flour coating, egg wash and breading stations, deep fryer, rolling station with rolling pin, McNugget molds, and McNugget boxes.
-Breakfast and McCafe Maker: Features a built-in griddle, egg rings, two blenders with dispensers, and syrup bottles.
-Salad Maker: Features a built-in salad mixer, cutting board and knife, vegetable chopper and slicer, and salad bowls.
-Shake Maker: Features a built-in blender with dispenser, cups, lids and straws.
-Pie Maker: Features a built-in roller, a pie mold, a deep fryer, a shaker for cinnamon sugar, and pie boxes
-Sundae Maker: Features a built-in ice cream maker with dispenser, a toppings bar, syrup dispensers, and sundae cups.
-McFlurry Maker: Basically the same one from 2003, except you'll have to make the ice cream mix yourself and it comes with a little bar for toppings.

What started as a spontaneous stop for silent prayer ended with a perfect late-night treat and a trip down memory lane.
I was headed home when an impulse took over.. first, a detour for a moment of quiet, silent prayers at church to recenter. Then, walking home, I had a street food dilemma (hello, isaw-kwek2x!), but my craving for comfort won…
And I ended up at McDonald's. It’s been too long, and for a couple of hours in the quiet of the night, I just sat with my fries and that incredible McCafe sundae… a simple, perfect moment of peace.
My shallow happiness was complete when I saw the display and was instantly flash-backed to childhood days of collecting toys! I couldn't resist buying a Happy Meal and scored two of the TinyTAN Encore Edition cuties.
If you know, you know! Say hello to Suga (light hair) and J-Hope (burgundy hair) in their tiny BTS alter-egos. Sometimes, the small, silly, and spontaneous moments are the ones that feed your soul the most. 😌🍟🧸

my boyfriend got us this. he likes mcdonald's sweets quite a lot (actually, just sweets in general), but i find them to be not the best. the cream on top of the muffin was good tho. and this coffee was better than the one i got last time for some reason.
