Something seems suspicious

    Light footsteps halted DEAD in their tracks followed by a chilling wind that gently caressed her pallid cheeks. Never had she doubted Kai’s intuition before–––most especially since he knew every little possibility that could happen in such a strange place such as this one. It was from the map that they were to take this e x a c t direction, however, if Kai senses something, then that should be taken into consideration as well. She trusts him of course. ( More than what the direction says, even. )

    Ever so slowly, she stepped backwards. Step by step until she was in line with the boy again. Gentle were her fingers as she reached out for his own. A touch that (hopefully) sent a message of concern.

    “The map suggested that we take this way but…what do you sense, Kai?”
