Between flying out to conferences and taking road trips with friends and spending days at the beach, I’ve been getting outside my normal routine and seeing new places. Airplane Essentials : Since I'm going on a trip tomorrow, I thought why not share with you guys the items I take on the plane! I'm using my American Apparel backpack. These items are in kind of random order!
Magazine/Books - You need something to entertain you on the flight, so if you're a big reader like me your favorite (or new) books and magazines are a must :~)
Journal - You may not keep a journal, but I love to write poems and such, so another thing to keep me entertained is my journal…and not to mention it is a great way to document adventures
Sunglasses - Hopefully you will be arriving in a somewhat sunny destination, so sunglasses are always great to have. Or they can be used to cover up the fact that you were just on a plane for hours and look like you've gotten run over by a train ;') (I feel u, no hate at all)
Wallet - You never know what might happen, so having your wallet (or extra cash) on you is smart. But make sure you check that you have it at all times (Holographic one shown is from Tjmaxx)
Gum/Mints - Will keep your ears from popping!!! And your breathe smelling nice, in case you meet a hottie and he ends up being in the seat next to you (holla @ me)
Small bag full of goodies - I like to keep a little pouch (the holographic one, from Urban Outfitters) which I keep Chapstick, hand sanitizer, and cream. I always end up feeling dirty while traveling, so having these little items help me to keep clean. Also, if you tend to have combination skin like me, oil-blotting pads are great to add in there too.
Camera - I bring my camera with me so I don't put it in my suitcase, and also so I can take photos when I arrive, but another item you must keep an eye on!
Headphones - My Urbanears headphones are awesome, I listen to music basically the whole flight and they are my fav
