Aislynn had actually written a letter before her death. She knew it ending things with Teddy likely wouldn’t go well after she had figured out he had killed people, so she wanted her family to know she loved them no matter what happened.

Unlike Aislynn, Layla actually likes when Teddy gets overly rough with her. She can physically handle it in this life and she’s willing to do damn near anything to help him calm down. So she’s gotten very good at covering deeper bruises with makeup, but she only bothers to do that if they leave the house.
