Which of your muses deserves better?

Probably... All of them? Except Aiste (my DnD tiefling)!

I think every single one of my muses has had something tragic happen to them, except for Aiste. And I have so many character ideas and concepts that I’ve lost track of how many I have. I’m terrible to my creations... (but then again,  who isn’t terrible to them on some level or another?)

I’ve tried to create more characters without the past weighing them down or influencing their every action, but honestly it just gets pretty boring. Plus I really enjoy just playing those things out and seeing how they overcome their different challenges, mental states and seeing if they can really grow or if they’ll just end up back at square one again and again.

I do eventually want to see a happy end for all of them, in a way... But I’m also not going to object to something happening that ends in their death either. I like to roleplay organically so in that sense I wish things were better for all of them too, since they’re all in constant danger! (Cue evil laughter)

But the one on my mind the most lately that I think in general definitely deserves better the most is Alithea. She’s constantly in conflict with herself over her past, decisions she’s made and is currently making. Always pulled in two directions, and never following her own path despite craving freedom above all others. I look forward to the day where I can really get into the meat of her backstory with others, and see how it plays out because I think things could either get much much better... Or much much worse.
