AITA For not taking in my ex-best friend?
So I (mid-20s M) was recently approached by my ex-best friend, V (also mid-20s M), where he asked me for a place to stay after his now ex-girlfriend kicked him out (for reasons unknown to me). We've known each other since we were kids, but we ended up cutting each other off. For context, I'm gay and V's sense of humor makes me extremely uncomfortable. He says he isn't actually homophobic and that they're just jokes, and he also tells me that I take things too seriously. I think he took it as a huge betrayal to our friendship, and now he "jokingly" threatens to out me to our mutual friends. I could never get over it, and when he asked me for help, I snapped at him and told him that he shouldn't expect such a huge favor from me. He has nowhere to go now, and I have no idea if he'll survive on his own.
