I feel like I’ve been slaying demons and dragons on Twitter all day about Depp v Heard. These people have nonsensical arguments for something that is rooted in fact as per the evidence presented in court. They want to believe in that simplified “believe all women” narrative so bad it’s eating them alive with fantastical whims of wishes and hopes. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I cannot continue to waste my energy on such futile efforts. Moving on.

It’s just common sense…

I really don’t understand the “I stand with Amber Heard” crowd. Do I believe Amber Heard deserves support? Yes I do. But I don’t believe she deserves it for the blatant lies she has spun. Support her because it is obvious she suffers from some kind of mental instability. And she’s going to need a blanket. But it is clear she was the aggressor in her relationship with John C Depp II. That is an important fact. It needs to be admitted by Heard herself and her supporters if they are going to move on. Johnny Depp isn’t an angel. He has his faults and his demons but abuse of women isn’t one of those haunts he needs to excise. It’s also a dangerous notion that people need to believe all women just because they are women. That’s not how life works. And it is also a dangerous notion to attach a political thought to those who believe and don’t believe all women and Amber Heard. It’s quite the narrative. It’s asking people to not trust themselves when evidence it presented and only allow one’s analysis to be filtered by what the MSM wants people to see. It’s asking people to not think for themselves and leave the thinking to a forced fed narrative given to the public by it’s media masters. I think that’s what bothers me as a person who rails on thinking independently…that I’ve been asked to support another woman just because she’s a woman. And not because I can evaluate the evidence and can comprehend the story of Ms. Heard does not mesh.
