grad school makes me deeply sleepy.... also i've been trying to read all of one piece, which cuts into writing time... also i am very socially active, always traveling on weekends and going to events and hanging out with friends, so i don't have much time to write between activities tbh OTL

oooh hmmm i'm trying to think of something actually interesting... one piece brainrot real, so for AceSan, i have a lil headcanon that Ace had been to the Baratie at one point back when he was starting out, and spent a lot of time checking out the little feisty blond making a ruckus in the kitchen :,) // once they meet again in alabasta, neither of them really remember having met before, but i like silly little "chance/fate" things like that

It would be weird for sure. And probably extremely difficult. Would lose train of thought a lot, get distracted, etc. But idk, you know? Sometimes its a struggle anyway because its so lonely.

What're you working on right now?

I was trying to work a little on this ya novel I got going about a gay space dragon and his prince boyfriend but it just ain’t coming together. Maybe I’ll cook up a destiel oneshot real fast before bed so I can at least have accomplished something lol

True! I did sign up already (as an author, as every year) but I’m in the mood to do something now *lol* Like, share and discuss and develop things together. I really loved that about the Reverse Bang.

Though....... I should start writing my DCBB but I haven’t made up my mind yet about the story I want to write.

yeah, but they changed up all the actors except 福尔康 and his parents, and 晴儿 and 老佛爷, and the storyline really doesn’t compare to the first*. (also 柳青, 柳红, and 金锁 don’t even appear.) i actually debated whether i even wanted to watch it when i was doing this rewatch, but then i figured i might as well relive it all.

i’m not really even that upset about the main three characters changing. the thing that upsets me the most is them switching out 张铁林 for this new 乾隆. like the old emperor was this impressive man with an horrible temper but he was still a doting, tender, forgiving, loving father, and this new emperor has absolutely none of that. he whines, bitches, and instantly leaps to the worst conclusions about 小燕子 even though he never did it in the past. this is like gambon!dumbledore being the exact opposite of calm

anyhow. yeah, not worth watching if you want to preserve the feeling from the originals.

ahahahaha well. maybe i’ll post it tonight or tomorrow night, we’ll see. i feel kinda horrible bc i’ve been done with ch 9 and just sitting on it for basically over two months already. like when i posted ch 8 i’m p sure i was already halfway through ch 10...

but it’s nice to have a lead on posting bc if there’s something in the un-posted material that i wanna change, i still have a chance to change it.

ehhhh perhaps. i’m thinking i’ll reread ch 11 from the beginning later tonight and see if it works. conversations tend to flow organically anyway so if the chaos makes sense in context with all the crap going on, i’ll keep it the way it is. if not, concept map is probably the way to go

Hi! If someone who doesn't have an AO3 account wants a pdf copy of one of your locked stories, do you mind someone with an AO3 account sharing it with them?

Not at all! They’re not meant to be restricted from, you know, people who actually want to read them, only from web-trawling who-cares-about-copyright bots. So absolutely feel free to share them! My only caveat would be that I do from time to time go through and re-read and edit, and, especially with stories that belong to an ongoing verse, the online version will always be the most updated and most correct and least likely to contain typoes. :)
