Omg I’m a twat. Imagine writing a chapter then getting annoyed with it and just deleting it. Yeah I did that. I’ve been told I have anger issues and ocd.
the problem with writing a lot of body horror is thinking even more about body horror. and i feel like I have a pretty good tolerance for that stuff but I really think im gonna have to go vegetarian for a while bc animal products are starting to really look like animals to me rn....

I need to stop hindering myself by thinking I have too many projects because then I put them in storage and forget what I was gonna write. I had the perfect first 3 chapters for Eat Your Heart Out and now I barely remember the second chapter I had planned! Annoying
Writing is like: aw shit I don’t remember where I was going with this I can’t just jump in (spends an hour rereading everything) aw shit now that I reread it I’m not in the mood to write I just want to read more I want to magically beam the next part in my head onto the Google doc
every day I say "It'll just be a small oneshot" and then I DIE like the liar I am as I keep adding words
I've been feeling kind of unsettled about all the new Avatar franchise content and I finally realized why. And it's really really dumb.
I didn't start writing fanfic or participating in the fandom until after LoK, so the only new content has been the odd comic here and there. My writing is usually canon compliant because I love filling in the gaps of canon lore.
The problem is that I've now amassed a truly insane amount of my own lore that used to fit very nicely into canon (according to my own interpretations and tastes ofc). Much of it happens years in the future. And now it's all an AU.
I guess people who participate in fandoms from the early years feel this weird sense of loss all the time and are probably used to it 😆 Skill issue on my part.
