Azem blows a kiss to her dearest friend Hythlodaeus before she goes and dies in a random place. She is not drunk but she hasn’t slept in a while. Azem is sure she can taste colors now or maybe smell numbers? Who knows.
IC ASKS!! // always accepting 💕
They have known each other for long enough he can tell fairly easily when Azem isn’t, well, in the best of shapes --- but then again, it would be quite obvious to anyone after he asked just where she was going to, head tilted to the side as he awaited an answer and was left to watch her simply go on her merry way. A light shake of his head, and Hythlodaeus stands up. I wouldn’t do to leave her to wander around like that.
Irresponsible as he may be known to be ( and as Hades was ever fond of pointing out in the most exasperated tones ), he was not prone to simply ignore a friend in need, and Panacea most clearly needed the help. It does not take long for him to find her, not even managing to leave the house proper, simply sitting in the corner beside the door and promptly having fallen asleep.
A fist covers his mouth, but it does little to conceal his laughter or the amusement plainly writ on his face. That is what you get for always overexerting yourself, my friend. Always somewhere to be, some problem to solve; but even she ought to know rest is necessary if she means to continue doing what she does. Hythlodaeus shakes his head, then walks towards her, placing one of his arms to support her back and the other beneath her knees. He is not the strongest, but he can manage to carry her to a proper bed, at very least -- even if with some difficulty.
Reaching the bedroom, he deposits his friend on the bed, her head now resting upon a pillow rather than propped against a wall; he throws a blanket upon Panacea unceremoniously, though she seems too far gone to actually know what’s going on. That should all be cured with a few hours of undisturbed, proper sleep. “ Sleep well my friend, ” He says, even if she likely won’t hear; then walks towards the door, words turning from affectionate to humorous. “ If anyone asks about you, I’ll be sure to point them in the opposite direction until you’re actually well-rested. ”
