Character sheet - Aylin
The Telpecil clan or silver feather [telpe: silver; tecil: feather] is one of the clans hidden deep in the Red Forest, the boundary between the kingdom of men and the domain of elves. As half-bloods, they are feared by humans and despised by elves. In search of safety, the Pereldar have created communities in which to take shelter.
Aylin was secretly raised by her (human) father until he was murdered. She lived on the streets for a time, at which point she was found by the matriarch of the clan; her original name is Aiwëlyn which means "singing bird" because of her extroverted personality and her constant chit chat. Aylin modified her name to the human tongue to avoid being discovered.
