While the end of summer often meant it's back to playoff season and Ashton was due to head out of town way more for practice, but there was still a little bit of time to enjoy the town's festivities and indulge a little. Plus, there was still other games in the spotlight before hockey was back in focus for him. Namely getting to sit back and enjoy the football playoffs with the rest of the town, it's rare that Ashton gets to be off field and watching from the stands instead so he'll indulge in that all he can.
He sat in the stands hooting and hollering with the rest of the local crowd watching the varsity teams playing off that night with a neighboring school for a friendly match. It was easier to blend in with a sport that wasn't hockey, he wouldn't look like that known hockey player in the national team. Ashton cheered loudly at a touchdown for the Cavaliers before laughing and sitting back down, commenting to the person beside him, "the Cavs are really doing well this year huh? They're going all out even for friendlies."
