So instead of being able to write, I went down to get my wine cooler and I got my dad talking to me about "good music" and how my generation goes to clubs instead of listening to live bands, and that somehow lead to "You have a wonderful voice, I wish you would use it and sing professionally" (WHAT THE HELL, A REALLY GOOD COMPLIMENT? WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH MY FATHER) and then how I should have never stopped playing trumpet.
