Bare with me and my nearly midnight thoughts: There’s a “you’re sleeping on the couch” moment between Mom and Aaron, but then she comes out and tells him she’s still mad at him but he’s gonna go back into their shared room and hug her so that she can sleep. He’s just all smiley and goes along with it, knowing he’s forgiven.
