| You, Me, & A Goat Makes Three |
Agron was just returning from his overseas tour which fortunately, was a short one. He wanted to surprise Nasir though, purposely having left out the details of his return. They also had another addition to their family: a baby goat. One that they had called Duro just for the sheer humor of it. Agron’s brother with his good sense of humor appreciated the hilarity. They had adopted the animal and had quickly grown attached to the baby goat. A perfect new member of their growing family.
When Agron entered their house, he quickly took notice that Nasir and Duro were not there. It hardly left him alarmed, for he knew where Nasir often went on weekends: to their home out in the country side. It was peaceful and inspiring to his partner, so Agron did not take long to drop off his bags, quickly pack a couple things and then make his way to their home out of the city, eagerness to see the man he loved and their baby making him move with haste.
The drive felt long enough but he knew it would be well worth it when he got there. He hated leaving Nasir. Before when he was deployed, it hadn’t been as hard, though parting from his brother was not easy. But now . . . every time he had to leave the man he loved, he felt as if he was leaving a huge piece of his heart, if not the entirety of it behind. A feeling he had never experienced before Nasir.
Parking the car, he stepped out, immediately entering the studio portion of the place, to find a paint hoofed Duro, hopping around on the ground, splattering paint, with Nasir clearly engrossed in his work. Agron couldn’t help but smile brightly at the sight. “Clearly, I can’t leave the two of you alone anymore,” he teased him, voice filled with the utmost affection.
