Dorian version vs not-Dorian-version-that-is-1/3-Dorian-anyway 

So hi, this year has been interesting. I had only one resolution and it was - don’t be lazy. I think I did pretty well all things considered:

I’ve finally finished the beach project that was sitting in my head since 2015 and which I finally felt confident enough to realize! 

I got to participate in 4 fandom events despite working full-time at daily job (Solas Artbook, Amazon Forest Charity, Dragon 4ge Day and - my first ever hosted - Dragon Age Secret Santa) - Big thanks to everyone who bought charity commissions from me!! 

I got better at looking up references and using 3D tools

Got to draw art not only for Dragon Age but also Life is Strange 2, Apex Legends, The Chorus Game, Dragon Prince and The Witcher - even if it’s only one piece per series it feels nice to expand my gallery a little

Managed to keep up my patreon live - HUGE thank you to my love patrons, current and past, for all of their support and encouragement. Thank you for putting so much trust in me! <3

Finally challenged myself to draw backgrounds and more full body pieces

I’m lucky enough to be friends with really supportive people (fellow artists included) and I’m really happy I keep making more art friends - there’s nothing more inspiring than having a good community

I’ve made lots of art memes haha 

I managed to keep the few-years tradition alive and I drew at least one Dorian each month!

I haven’t stop making music videos which are still a very important form of expression to me

As for more personal life things: 

Got a new job, which is a good one all things considered

Got to see @actioncvt again this year (twice even!) <333 

Finally took my parents to Paris (my mom wanted to visit it for ages now) and I’m so happy I could finally meet with @sharp-sparks, @vilemie and @bogatyris face-to-face. You rock, guys! Hope we will see each other again <3

I do have an idea of what I want to improve in the following years but I will let it come naturally and without stress. I’ll keep my “don’t be lazy” rule, because it’s working.

Thought on game awards:

Happy TLOUS2 and Laura won, well deserved, that game was such an emotional ride!

From DA4 teaser I loved every bit we got of Tevinter. I really want to see more of this place. And music was awesome. But imo they could have gotten Dorian to narrate instead of Varric. Would make more sense. Solas new model looks kinda weird and if other characters will look like that as well...

MASS EFFECT PLS, HYPE. IM LOVING IT!
