Can 100% confirm re: the gang making bank off basically glorified antiquing. My father was in the antiques/arts trade and was a fairly sought-after appraiser, and when he closed a good deal, finished up a high-profile appraisal etc. we’d suddenly be flush with $$$ (like one sale of something really special could gross at least $100+K). Of course he wasn’t v good with money and it tended to disappear as quickly as it came in, but that’s another story ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So then, does being experts in a field make your asking price higher though? Is it the case of, the more niche that field is, the higher your price will be? Ah, now I have this image in my head of the team having an actual office/shop with the knick-knacks and paddy wacks from their Journey™️ through time like a front for the armoury in the back of the place and the locals who operate around them swear that the owners are vampires or some Keanu Reeves immortal living shit hahahaha...
