This year  for my first @viktuuriangstbang​ I’ve been blessed to work with two lovely writers on two different interesting scenarios for these darling characters. This is a scene inspired by the first chapter of @ajwolf84​ ‘s Our Time, Gone Forever YOI AU fic. 

The constellations depicted are based on the actual starry sky by the latitude and timeframe of the fic down to season and hour, calculated through web sky maps.  Ditto on the mirrored constellations glowing under their feet ;D. The closest most well known location nowadays to that of the fic would be Vladivostok btw. 

As a nod to the lore and worldbuilding of the fic  Yuuri's big pin/brooch on his hoodie here is meant to be a fusion homage to both the Ouroboros snake - but here looping into a double infinity 8  - and also decorative Chinese and Korean knots. Might or might not also disguise a tracker/commu device of sort of the Timeless TimeLords Retro Advanced Tech variety :P

Yuuri is a tech genius working in Silicon Valley, but he never would have gotten this far if not for the support of the Russian Royal family who offered him a full scholarship to the elite Rostelecom Academy and have been supporting his education ever since. Of course, this help didn’t come for free. He’s now considered a member of the Royal family, which isn’t so bad, other than the inordinate number of weddings he has to attend. There’s also the small stipulation that he is technically a candidate to become the Prince’s consort, but that’ll never happen… -------
