Romanian PM MD 63 AKM build
Disregard the post I made prior to this one, as I had to redesign this upper furniture again. I wanted the optic to be low enough it would co-witness with the iron sights. Thus, the rail had to be much lower and made into the design.
It looks great, feels great, and works great.
Take a look at the blue, and you will see the design now has a rail built into the lower half as well as the upper. I really appreciate the durability and resistance of this material. Soon, I am going to post a video of placing extreme stress on the sights made for the HK USP, so that you can view just how tough this material is.
Here is a peep sight, which gives a slightly different sight picture than the factory sights.
Here is an ongoing project for you to view. I have been wanting to make some custom furniture for the AK pistols for a while, but have only recently been getting into materials which can take the heat (nylons).
I know there may be some of you who don’t find the red to their taste, but I really like it and I imagine some of you will also. Which on that point. Disregard the tiger striping ad I may do away with it, but this is an ongoing project.
I had to take off my optic mount, as it doesn’t work well on the AK variants with this style iron sight. So next I’m going to work on a better rail system.
