They forget that some of us were born for this time.
That some of us have been preparing for lifetimes.
They forget that some of us see through the deception and that our spiritual immune system is strong.
They underestimate our strength and our resistance to temptation.
They wrongfully believe that we are attached to our material world and that we depend on it for joy.
They forget that we know there is a better way and that we know the path that we are walking on. That we hold an unbreakable vision of peace and truth.
--> We didn’t come here for it to be easy.
--> We didn’t come here to be comfortable.
--> We didn’t come here to build our ego or our name.
--> We didn’t come here to build our material empire.
--> We didn’t come here for short term gains.
We came here to CHANGE THE WORLD. To spread LOVE and UNITY throughout the hearts and land. We came here to stand for Spirit/God/Oneness.
We are Warriors and we WILL change the world.
The Lamb
Israel is a place of much debate and emotion. I came across a hopeful story of a place there where Jew Christian and Muslim live together, called Neve Shalom - (Hebrew: נְוֵה שָׁלוֹם, lit. Oasis of Peace), also known as Wāħat as-Salām (Arabic: واحة السلام) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neve_Shalom One commentator, Ahmad Yusuf, director of a U.S.-based Islamist think tank said something interesting at the end of his commentary (you can read the full article here: http://www.meforum.org/132/no-but-a-useful-step-toward-bi-nationalism ) in summary he said: "To end with an old Arab proverb: A man and his young son went to the village butcher to buy some meat. The boy watched as the butcher cut the throat of a lamb, and he saw the tears that ran down the butcher's face as he cut the sheep's jugular. The boy turned to his father and said, "Isn't the butcher merciful?" The father shook his head, acknowledging the tears of the butcher, then turned to his son and told him, "Focus not on his tears but on the knife in his hand." I can see that Yusuf had the Arab/Muslim view – the knife, the action or the immediate outcome is the focus. Israel's view is like the boy – the butcher's tears are the focus, the emotion, the reasons behind the action, the theology/humanology. The *why* if you like. Christian view is on the lamb itself, the innocent, justice, the intent for good. Jesus called himself the lamb of God– like the lamb in the story, His focus was dying. Dying for all of the above people, that we may all live in peace. Despite the action and thought and intent of each, only if each of these refocus to the Lamb, will peace come.

"If your Lord calls you to suffering, do not be dismayed, for He will provide a deeper portion of Christ in your suffering. The softest pillow will be placed under your head though you must set your bare feet among thorns. Do not be afraid at suffering for Christ, for He has a sweet peace for a sufferer. God has called you to Christ's side, and if the wind is now in His face, you cannot expect to rest on the sheltered side of the hill. You cannot be above your Master who received many an innocent stroke. The greatest temptation out of hell is to live without trials. A pool of standing water will turn stagnant. Faith grows more with the sharp winter storm in its face. Grace withers without adversity. You cannot sneak quietly into heaven without a cross. Crosses form us into His image. They cut away the pieces of our corruption. Lord cut, carve, wound; Lord do anything to perfect Your image in us and make us fit for glory! We need winnowing before we enter the kingdom of God. O what I owe to the file, hammer, and furnace! Why should I be surprised at the plough that makes such deep furrows in my soul? Whatever direction the wind blows, it will blow us to the Lord. His hand will direct us safely to the heavenly shore to find the weight of eternal glory. As we look back to our pains and suffering, we shall see that suffering is not worthy to be compared to our first night's welcome home in heaven. If we could smell of heaven and our country above, our crosses would not bite us. Lay all your loads by faith on Christ, ease yourself, and let Him bear all. He can, He does, and He will bear you. Whether God comes with a rod or a crown, He comes with Himself. "Have courage, I am your salvation!" Welcome, welcome Jesus!

Joshua 3:13As soon as the priest’s feet touch the water, the flow of water will be cut off upstream, and the river will stand up like a wall.’The Israelites faced a flooded river between them and the Promised Land. It seemed like an insurmountable obstacle. But as the priests stepped forward, a miracle took place and the river parted. Our High Priest, Jesus Christ goes ahead of us, and opens a way for us, through the impossible.PRAYER: Lord Jesus, You are my High Priest, and You step into the flood, into the fire and into the flame that wants to stop and destroy me, and You make a way for me, through it all. Amen.

“I will … cause you to walk in my statutes” - Ezekiel 36.27
The highest spiritual condition is one where life is spontaneous and flows without effort, like the deep floods of Ezekiel’s river, where the struggles of the swimmer ceased, and he was borne by the current’s resistless force.
So God leads us into spiritual conditions and habits which become the spontaneous impulses of our being, and we live and move in the fullness of the divine life.
These spiritual habits are not the outcome of some transitory impulse, but often are acquired and established slowly. They begin, like every true habit, in a definite act of will, and they are confirmed by the repetition of that act until it becomes a habit. The first stages always involve effort and choice. We have to take a stand and hold it steadily, and after we have done so a certain time, it becomes second nature and carries us by its own force.
The Holy Spirit is willing to form such habits in every direction of our Christian lives. If we will obey Him in the first steps of faith, we will soon become established in the attitude of obedience, and duty will be delight.

Its not about what we can do for God, but about what He wants to do for us ...
