This is what magic, legal herbs do to you.
Me: Slugs are just snails without a shell.
Bon: *laughing* What?
Beth: No, they're not.
Me: They are.
Bon: Snails have a lump on their back, slugs don't.
Me: What? I thought the shell just sits on their back and falls off when they don't need it anymore?
Beth: Noooo.
Me: I swear, they're snails! They start off as baby snails and have a small shell, then they go to preschool, get bigger and need a bigger shell. Then they go to big school and are like, 'i'm a big snail now' and need a bigger shell again, then they go to snail highschool and need yet another big shell. Then they become teenage snails and then adult snails, and when they get rid of their shells, that's when they're slugs... slithering around without a shell, looking for a bigger, better new one.
Bon: No, Natalie. That's not how it works.
Me: I swear it's true, i heard it somewhere!
Beth: I'm gonna google it... The difference between slugs and snails are snails have a hard exterior shell, whereas slugs do not -
Me: Yeah, because they're looking for a new shell!
Beth: *laughing* No.
Bon: *laughing* Slugs are not Snails without a shell.
Me:
Beth:
Bon:
Me: Yes, they are.
