Ever since they got together the songs just poured out of Eric. To the point where he was giving them to other artists for their own albums. One song in particular he couldn’t help but share with Dee. Now that the song was complete he purposely didn’t tell her their date night included taking a listen in the studio. They had the place to themselves, he had some champagne set up along with desserts following their dinner date. “I thought we could have dessert here,” he grinned giving her hand a small squeeze as he opened the door to the studio. “You know my album is about finished but there is one song I need you to hear before anyone else. We just finished it the other day, and it’s going to be the single. I had to have my inspiration hear it first.” He sat them down in the chairs at the mix table before fixing a pair of headphones on her ears. Carefully he queued up the song before putting his own on and pressing play. The only thing he cared about was seeing her reaction to what he created.
