Yeah, that was not fun combing through my theme html coding, ctrl + F decided to only half work.

We were out for a run with our buddy Hula and it went great - but when we got back Pepper had ripped the webbing between the toes on her back foot open (no idea what she stepped on or when she did it, just that the house looked like a murder scene when we got in).  So yeah - she’ll be fine, but she does need stitches tonight, so I won’t be able to pick her up until late tonight (great, considering I worked 24 hour shifts both Friday and Sunday and need to be back in by 5am tomorrow) and the cost is gonna be a heavy, heavy hit on the bank account that I obviously hadn’t planned on a summer that’s already breaking the bank.

We’ll be fine, I just need to have a really good cry and cuddle Hula and eat ice cream for a while after I finish cleaning the mess in the living room up.

I’ve actually never done this. Not bc I don’t have an interest, i’ve just never really had a chance to give it a try

27. What’s your favourite POV (point of view) to read? (first, second, third)

oh, totally 3rd. I used to be cool with 1st, but idk what happened. for the most part, unless the narrative sucks me in right away, it’s hard for me to read. 2nd has to be done really well, like Lemony Snicket.

It’s so SO hard to lose a pet. Grieve at your own pace, there’s no comparing your loss to others’. Circumstances of pet loss can impact the way we grieve them. Old age was easier to process than cancer this year for my two boys. Both were far easier to deal with than having to end a pet’s life due to the attack of and future danger to the people in the home. I think it took at least 3 years from losing Gibbs, to me being able to not cry over him constantly. Sending LOVE

I’ve had friends tell me this too, and they’re right, I guess I’m just having a hard time processing everything. I know I’ll get over this hurdle sooner or later.

Sudden deaths are the absolute worst.

18. what surprised you the most this year?

The people I thought I could count on in my life and those I thought I couldn’t turn to for help. Completely unexpected turn of events when I was truly at my lowest point this year. 

25. what’s one thing that you hope will continue next year?

My slow steps towards taking better care of myself. A beautiful human being told me I should and I don’t want to let that person down.
