You just match the tiles that don’t tiles on both their left and right sides. At least, that’s how it is on my computer. There are probably more complex versions

i dont even know anything about mahjong i think my mom used to play a computer version years ago at least with kaiji i understood how rock paper scissors works but mahjong is a totally different level of game like
