They took her scroll. Nora didn’t realize that she came to rely on it so much until it was gone. The feeling was borderline tragic, especially when she had a song stuck in her head and no way to listen to it. But she had something of a solution. 

“Tuuuurn around every night and then I fall in parts~” Lack of a scroll also meant that she didn’t have lyrics on hand. But she improvised her song with confidence. At least, she did before she noticed someone else nearby her.

“Oh. Hi.” Awkward. But Nora took it in stride and grinned at the stranger. “You wanna join?”

It was hard on her, having to participate in something so awful. She wasn’t the Wendy Marvell that the normal Hive City was, but rather one from the otherworld. She was so similar to her other self, and yet there were underlying differences that stemmed from what she’d experienced over in that place. As much as the girl still hated to kill, and longer to protect, unlike her original self she had already come to terms with what had to be done.

She stepped out of one of the many portals that linked the two worlds, not wholly prepared for what was to come. She wouldn’t kill anyone unless necessary, that was what she’d decided. The mage wouldn’t have come at all had she not been restless back home, with most of the pressure placed on the world that threatened the continued existence of their own.

As expected, people of the Hive she’d traveled to were lined in defense, ready to strike down all that entered. But she wasn’t militia, she was a mage, a Dragon Slayer, and she was quick to act.

“SKY DRAGON’S ROAR!” Wind enchanted with Sky magic erupted from her lungs with the force of a horizontal tornado. It contained enough force to cut into a fell several buildings nearby, it’s range extending the better part of a kilometre as she turned her head, spreading it’s trajectory to cover 180 degrees and blowing away anyone unprepared.

But one man stood after the dust cleared. Had he been there before? Or had he arrived after the fact?

“Do you plan on standing in my way? We have things we want to protect in our world too! I have things I want to protect!”

    It's not that she actively sought trouble, it just always seemed to find her no matter where she went. Might also be in due part to her rather confrontational personality, and while it had quelled somewhat over the years it was still an integral part of who she was. As such when she crosses paths with a group of thugs harassing an old lady and her shop, she fully intended to sort it out without the use of violence. Unfortunate that her opposition had no intention of being pacifists today. 

    "Fine, we'll have it your way," taking up an offensive stance. The matter would be settled within minutes if she was at full power, alas she had to make do with what she had. Regardless, with or without all her bending this was far from a one-sided fight. Although to any onlookers perhaps it didn't seem that way, a young girl pitted against five brawny goons did seem a little unfair. Maybe that's why this guy decided to step in, whether to aid or cause further trouble she can't say just yet. "You here to get in my way or help?" The latter would be nice for a change.
