“…Ew, really?”
“My, are you by any chance, jealous, Rider? If you wish to see me in any specific costume it would be wise of you to tell me that now. You wouldn’t want to miss a chance, would you?”
“Costumes...? My, is it already the time for the occasion? Perhaps I should ask him if he would like to see me in a specific costume.”
as the kids say, YOLO "Marry me"
“… I am currently away tending to my Master’s needs, you may try to contact me again another day or we can sign a treaty where you don’t talk to me for the rest of our lives. You may leave a message after the beep, however, do so at your own discretion.”
"Marry me"
“Silly boy. The last time a man asked for my hand in marriage died days after marrying me. You would do well to know that you should be careful with the ways to woo a woman such as I.”
Put "Marry Me" in my ask and see how my muse reacts .

His demeanor remained laid-back despite the venomous retort. Her tongue was as sharp as always, he internally noted. Not that he ever expected it to dull, of course. Not with someone like her. Strangely enough, it pleased him to see that she could still talk with so much bite. Otherwise, this meeting wouldn’t be any fun for him at all.
“You know what, I would gladly take such critters on top of my head,” he said in response as he ran his fingers through the viridian strands. “At least my hair won’t look like they’ll strangle the critters in their sleep.”
Achilles let out a hearty laugh, though undertoned by mockery as it sounded quite forced. Oh, how he loathed the Assyrian queen so much. May she never change for both their sakes. Achilles shook his head, still quite amused by this sudden development.
“Relax, your vileness. I’m sure if you work hard enough like us peasants as you so eloquently put it, the higher-ups of this city might just give you a couch worth sitting your entitled butt on. Of course, that implies you doing anything with effort.” He scoffed. “Which I highly doubt you’re capable of.”
This is how it is.
Their relationship is one laced with venomous words, constantly pushing and pulling, antagonistic, and even if they worked together it was out of self-importance. Entitlement is a nature of theirs, and both possessed pride with the density of a rock, far from hollow, yet horrendously thick with unnecessary weight.
“They may not strangle the creatures in their sleep, but surely your scalp carries the stench of your filthy mind, which poisons them to death.”
She knows no restrain, there was no need to. A hit like that was one she could perform, and one he could handle. At least there was a degree of trust in terms of strength toward the other -- she knew he was a capable man, no -- a capable Servant, in every way, except he was bound to freedom, such is nature of a Rider.
“Why, while you were secretly flirting without realising that you may have been suffocating the lady, I was working on my Noble Phantasm: Hanging Gardens of Babylon to prepare for the battle. With that, you failed to bring our Berserker back home. Need I remind you that effort is something you lack, and therefore you have no right in speaking in such a way to me, Rider.”
selfrighteousruler:
“Were that things so simple, my dear friend. No…I’m afraid that the Grail itself has been lost to me, though I plan to reclaim it soon enough. The ones that control this place have power not unlike that of Servants themselves, but that is of little concern to us at present. For now, I am simply glad to have you at my side once again.”
Gently releasing her hand, Shirou continued to smile warmly towards the woman as he spoke. As both a Servant and a Master, the feeling of ‘right’ that came from being alongside her once again was palpable. She was a friend, an ally, a partner, and the one he trusted above all others. Theirs had been a bond unlike any other he had enjoyed in either of his lifetimes, and he felt enriched merely by the knowledge of its existence.
Bowing formally, with a hint of mischief slipping into his smile, the saint rose and extended his hand towards his royal companion. She had only just arrived, and there would be time for talk of plans and plots later. For now…he would take the opportunity to once more enjoy her company.
“Please…allow me to escort you through our new, temporary home. I promise you, this city will give you no lack of entertainment, though no beauty I have witnessed here has given me a joy that can compare to the joy I feel now at your return.”
There was a hint of anger, or perhaps a creeping sadness that welled up within her when he called her ‘friend’, a sense of it being hardly enough to amount to what she has for him -- a questionable loyalty, she had never had to be loyal to anyone, but what was it? She herself did not know, her feelings a variable yet to explore.
Upon hearing his hopeful words, a smile allowed itself to adorn her beautiful features, that there was hardly a change in his treatment, that she still was his trusted Servant. That could not change, even when he was not the one who summoned her this time.
“I see you still retain the gentlemanly demeanour. I would hate it for you to change that. Do tell and show me, what this city has to present should be a little more than its natural blandness, now that we are together. Was there anything here that you would have liked me to see, when I couldn’t be with you?”
This could be an opportunity to learn more, if she had let him sleep on her thighs for a reason more than simply an attempt to her being a Servant. If she lied to herself, that this meant nothing but war.
obsxlxte:
“Ehh?? Ya got a problem with how I look, lady?”
Hanten knew she wasn’t the most elegant of characters, but she knows she aint hideous. She dressed in simple clothing, being her black sweater, a school skirt, and her school shoes. She also did have a dress shirt and a tie underneath her sweater so that could count for something..
“Do I...? You make quite the beautiful sight for those whose eyes do not seem to recognise beauty. Must I elaborate more, or does your simpleton of a mind require a simpler answer?”
Perhaps it was her taste for luxury that made the youth far more an eyesore than she actually was, but Semi wasn’t going to be very kind -- she had no reason to be kind. There was simply nothing in it for her, and thus her antagonistic words.
machinesandroses:
That was one way to take him from neutral to livid in less than thirty words.
“Is everyone in this city blind? Had none of you ever seen true beauty before, and that’s why you’re mistaking me for some kind of ocular offense?”
A shade thrown was worth it. Only the best of the best should deserve beautiful words from her, and ever so ghostly -- those words could be.
“Blind? Perhaps it would be best for you to examine the purpose of the lenses set before your eyes. You are the one who appears more likely to be blind. Fear not, you do emit an air of.... ‘otherworldliness’.”

“Oh, how the mighty have fallen!” The mocking vocables came from a removed ally, a once uneasy alliance made bare now that nothing between these two Servants remained to keep such a thing going. His predatory gaze watched her like a hawk from where he stood, taking stabs at her unfortunate predicament.
“Not to your liking, Assassin? Careful now, critters of all sorts might just find those locks of yours comfy to nest in.” He pointed out, attempting to further get under the skin of the Assyrian queen. He never really did like her, nor did she, he was sure. The only thing that kept them from literally being at each other’s throats, was their Master.
But he’s nowhere near around now, is he?
“And here I was hoping to find a Servant who might be worth chatting up. Turns out it was just you.” He shrugged, feigning disappointment. “So, how do you like the place?”
The familiar voice, an antagonist to her new tale.
....
Her anger subsided, or rather, now that her steps halted, the one second it took her to perceive, recognise and turn toward the source of nothing but an annoying noise had somehow turned the desire to destroy to a mere desire to chastise.
Of course, that hardly meant that she was glad for the presence which welcomed her.
“You’d do well to call me mighty, Rider, but you have the greatest capability of neglecting quite a number of critical things. Your lovely, lush lawn atop your head would make a far more comfortable nest for the critters. I’m sure you could accommodate them very well, as you seem to be very alike to them.”
Like a mother, but like a sister, but no less -- they were both intent on throwing insults. Fondness was something absolutely absent in their interactions with one another, despite sharing the same faction, and... to her dismay, Master.
Her hands placed at her slender waist, her eyes hardy faltering at the sight of her ally.
“Oh but if you desire a worthy speaker, perhaps it would do you good to learn about refined speech, I wouldn't wish to speak to a peasant with grass for his head. And lastly, you heard me, Rider, I have no need to repeat anything I have said in regards to this vile place.”

It was a presence that he could hardly forget. The moment that she had stepped foot into the city, he knew. A smile, a true genuine smile of joy, spread across his lips as he closed his book and rose from his seat. He would need to continue reading later. More pressing matters had arisen, after all.
He walked alone through the bustling streets of the city, passing all others by without so much as a singular glance. There were more important people to see, more pressing allies to regain. The command seals upon his body throbbed and pulsed with the rekindling energy of their pact as he moved closer and closer to the source of the happiness that had risen in his chest.
He saw her, after nearly a half hour of walking, standing alone and gazing at the city as if entranced. He wondered if she had felt his presence as well, if she had felt the bonds they still shared, and found his answer when she turned to face him at his approach. The Ruler smiled as he reached out and took her hand, lifting it to his lips to place a respectful kiss across her cool skin.
“Welcome to Hive City, Assassin. Your arrival is a blessing I can hardly begin to believe.”
Something like the warmth of doves, pressed together around a babe.
To her, that was once home.
Such feeling trickled within her core, dubious but present, and she could tell just why had she felt such a way. There was a reason, a calling for her to be within the foreign cage, surrounded by metal buildings -- there was someone she was linked to, in a bond complex even for her to comprehend.
But she had said it in a few words, yet even so...
She turned, her eyes immediately fixated upon the white of his hair, and the familiar shade of his skin.
“A blessing indeed, of which felt impossible to happen -- but it is still you I have come to, in this city by which I know naught of.”
Ecstasy was not the one word which could write off this sensation, euphoria felt far too powerful -- but ‘belong’, was one she could perhaps agree with. They worked for a goal they shared, and she fought, with great effort, all the while with anxiety clouding her, even if she tried to clear her sights of the burden of concern.
“However, it was not you who stood before me as I was summoned here in this city. That would only mean that this is no city for the Holy Grail War, no?”

Ebony strands swept the floor as driven steps fall upon the ground.
A beautiful face, ah, but such a beastly pair of eyes, seemingly harmonising with her feminine features. Exquisite, but rotten, an air of death hung upon her black sleeves.
What painted across her lips, her eyes and her nose: anger.
A voice that trailed an angry note, a melody of rage as she growled beneath her breath, the need for control all seemed to have been swept away at the mere presence of her displeasure.
“How dare they present a disgusting dwelling for me! Rather than a dwelling, it looks far more a dump!”
Most would often seek answers as to why they were brought there, and she, she felt home, a vague sense of belonging that seemed to tug within the strings of what heart she possessed, but what waited for her was far from one.
While there remained the sensation of affinity for something, or someone within the foreign city, she could not bear the “ill treatment” upon her presence. The lack of luxury for her, could easily mean the lack of respect for her title as a queen once upon a time.
But one would never see perceive angry lady with an uncontrollable rage at things being unlike her standards past the streets of Hive City a queen, lest they know her.
As a heads’ up for those who missed the RP ad and still wish to interact with Semi here upon her arrival, feel free to write me up a starter, or message me, or wait for my open introduction post to come up. I intended to tend to it much earlier but there had been a few issues, I should be able to tend to it later tonight.
With that, see you around.
Celebratory opening RP ad!
Admit it, y’all have been waiting. So lengths will vary, and I will post an open intro if you want to wait for that, and this one caps at three. Castmates count in because I don’t want to burn myself out, sorry!
