The truth needs no padding or explicatives. In the story Ọ̀rúnmìlà's advice to Olókun was short and to the point while his counterparts gave elaborate explanations about what valuables the king needed to offer. Ọ̀rúnmìlà did not need to contradict them openly or protest that he was right. The truth he spoke simply stood for it's self. Asɛmpa yɛ tia.
