He wouldn’t say you’re dumb, you just do stupid things a lot. Stupid, unpredictable things. That’s the frustrating part, the unpredictability. How is he supposed to keep you safe from your own recklessness when you are an absolute wild card? You’re far from domineering, but that doesn’t make you a yes-woman. You only listen to him about half the time–which makes it impossible for him to predict when you’re feeling compliant or not.
Akashi is entitled unapologetically confident in himself and his abilities (a highly assertive personality). You, on the other hand, are bit more turbulent. Not necessarily highly introverted or timid, just far from as self-assured as the redhead. But that’s just fine with him, preferred, almost. You certainly have confidence in him, so it’s only natural for him to return the favor and fill in the gaps of your self-assurance with both kindness and reason.
You’re a fairly casual person, always calling him by his first name. It’s annoying to him when you do this in front of his coach or father, but he knows that you’re not doing it as a power move (as is his m.o.). He’s not all that special though, as you give the same treatment to the rest of his team, although he sometimes gets a nickname.
