It's not that I have a problem with Ruby Rose (except that I'm being judgemental and I don't think she's a good actress) but she's just NOT Kate Kane. I love her I do really but just.. Not as Kate. She's pretty to look at, she isn't a bad person (as far as I know) BUT SHE ISN'T KATE KANE.
Y'all know how Melissa Benoist fits Supergirl so perfectly? Same goes for Grant and Stephen, they're all loved despite the current situation of their shows because they do JUSTICE with the characters they're given, they fit the profile, they channel the true essence of these comic book characters and with Ruby I just.. Don't see it. (Not to mention the horror that is the all black suit but I'm guessing they're gonna change it later in the season)
I'm gonna give the show a chance, Ofc I am but I wish they hadn't casted Ruby for the benefit of the Straights and the general audience.
