This started as a little simple sketch, but then I decided to turn it into a lighting and color study. After many hours of failed experiments, this is the result. I’m actually quite happy with it. :D

Finally finished my MerMay pic~ The irony of Akihiro being a fish hasn’t escaped me.  I could probably do a bit more to it, but tbh I’m ready to work on other things. All things considered, I’m happy with it. I haven’t done a digital painting in a hot minute.
