I think this trilogy represents some of the best comtemporary styles of camera, space and abstraction in anime and depictions of the vampire lore.

Finally finished my MerMay pic~ The irony of Akihiro being a fish hasn’t escaped me.  I could probably do a bit more to it, but tbh I’m ready to work on other things. All things considered, I’m happy with it. I haven’t done a digital painting in a hot minute.

aww shit this is adorable (but also a little sad? by the surprised expression it implies that it’s the first time he’s so fiercely happy/proud of someone he’s close to, and has trouble recognizing/processing these emotions)
