Oliver clapped his hands along with everyone else once the gymnastics event was over. He glanced down at his watch, the time reading just a little after four pm. He had been happy that he was able to finish up his work and get here before Kara went on and see her full routine. He really didn’t understand all the technical stuff about scoring with his own eyes but the judges gave her really high scores so that was enough to tell him that she was good. Of course she looked good in her uniform doing all those flips and tumbles. And Bucky was right -- she was the hottest on her team.
Looking over at Bucky and Audrey, whom were all looking at each other lovey-dovey, Oliver cleared his throat. “Well, that was fun. Do we go somewhere to meet up with her?”
“Yeah, we can go over by the locker room door and wait for her. She’s probably changing.” Audrey gathered up her purse and coat and then Bucky helped her up from the bleacher seat. “Are we going to eat first or the toy store?”
Oliver stood and picked up his coat, slipping it over his arms and onto his shoulders. “FOA Schwartz first. Our dinner reservation is at 7:15. I suppose if we get out of the store early and we still have time we can go into some other ones and browse to kill some time.”
“Browsing makes me sad ... I love looking at things but I’m sad I can’t take everything home with me that I want.” Audrey said with a chuckle, slipping her arm with Bucky’s as they walked over to the locker room area. “I need to find a dress to wear to the Stark gala and everything I want at Bergdorf Goodman’s costs a shit ton of money. So I guess I’m shopping the sale rack at Macy’s or doing the rent the runway thing again. I hate paying for something I can’t own though!”
Oliver looked down at his feet for a moment, feeling a little bad that Audrey and Bucky couldn’t afford the stuff that he and Kara could. As it was his entire outfit that he had on right now was well over what some people make in an entire year. Mainly due to his 40,000 dollar watch that his father gifted him but take that away and his clothes were still thousands of dollars worth. He looked back up with a smile. “So uh ... You think Kara is coming out soon or do we need to send Audrey in there to go get her?”
“She’s probably getting pretty for you, Ollie!” Audrey replied with a wink.
